The University of Massachusetts Amherst offers Bachelor’s Degrees, Master's Degrees, and Doctoral degrees. The B.S. in Computer Science is based on a flexible set of degree requirements that allow students to use a breadth of CS courses to complete the degree. Students are required to choose from professional, research, or a data science track when pursuing a Master’s Degree. Students may also engage in independent study or research for academic credit, with faculty supervision.
